About AIPress

Who We Are

AIPress is a daily AI news and analysis publication. We cover the frontier AI industry — model releases, benchmark results, company strategy, safety research, infrastructure, and the policy debates that shape how this technology moves. Original reporting from primary sources, published every day.

We write for people who want substance over hype: developers, researchers, policy people, and serious readers who follow the field and want it explained clearly rather than hyped loudly.

Who Publishes AIPress

AIPress is published by DevsIsle, a software company that builds and operates web products. DevsIsle is responsible for everything published here, including corrections. Editorial questions go to contact@aipress.blog.

The editorial desk is run by Jacob Bloom, a computer science graduate and long-time practitioner in Linux, networking, cyber-security, and R&D, now focused full-time on AI news and analysis. Jacob is the editor and lead writer at AIPress and is accountable for the editorial content published here.

What We Cover

  • Model releases and launches — what shipped, what it does, and what changed versus the prior version.
  • Benchmarks and evaluations — what the numbers actually say, which ones we trust, and where the caveats are.
  • Company strategy and moves — what the labs and companies are doing, why, and what it signals.
  • Safety and misuse reporting — when labs, researchers or journalists surface real incidents, we summarize them plainly.
  • Infrastructure — the physical layer behind AI: data centers, chips, power, cooling, and the constraints that now bound progress.
  • Policy and regulation — the EU AI Act, US posture, and anything else that changes what builders and users can do.

What We Are Not

We are not a feed of recycled press releases. We are not an aggregator. We are not an SEO farm pumping out thin posts to catch search traffic. Every post is written from primary and secondary sources, with named citations where they exist and honest caveats where they do not.

How We Work

We track the news daily across the companies and labs that matter — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Meta, Nvidia, DeepSeek, and the rest of the frontier. When something worth covering happens, we write it up the same day, with sources, numbers, and an original line of analysis at the end.

We would rather publish one solid post than three thin ones. Cadence matters, but not at the cost of quality.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct it and say so. If you spot an error — a bad figure, a misnamed person, a source we should have checked — email contact@aipress.blog. We read every message and correct errors promptly. Corrections are noted at the top of the affected post. Full details are on the Contact page.

Publishing Cadence

We publish daily, usually more than one post on busy news days. New posts appear on the front page as they go live, and in our RSS feed. The beat moves fast — check back or follow us on Facebook.

Advertising and Independence

AIPress will be supported by advertising. Advertisers have no input into what we cover or what we say, and no advance sight of anything we publish. Where a post concerns a company we have a commercial relationship with, we say so in the post. How advertising handles your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
